Finch, who was hired by Gersson Rosas when he was with the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2021, signed a four-year extension with the Wolves in June 2024 after their successful playoff run. The Knicks would likely need to provide compensation to the Timberwolves to release Finch from his contract.
