Chisholm, who has been out since April 29 with a high-grade oblique strain, had a batting line of .181/.304/.410 with seven home runs and 17 RBIs in 30 games before his injury, and may also play third base. Cruz has excelled in his first season with a 2.66 ERA and 13.3 K/9 in 21 appearances, following an offseason trade from the Cincinnati Reds.
