Kyle Palmieri has signed a two-year contract with the New York Islanders, valued at an average annual salary of $4.75 million, which includes a full no-trade clause for the first year. The 34-year-old winger, who scored 48 points last season, has tallied over 20 goals in seven of the last ten NHL seasons and has 527 career points in 900 games. The Islanders also signed defenseman Adam Boqvist to a one-year deal, while the team has made significant changes this offseason, including winning the NHL Draft Lottery and hiring a new general manager, Mathieu Darche.
