The New England Patriots announced that veteran C David Andrews will formally retire with the team early next week.
Andrews, who played his entire nine-year career with the Patriots, won two Super Bowl championships and appeared in 124 games with 121 starts. After being released earlier this offseason, he chose to retire rather than pursue opportunities with other teams, solidifying his legacy with New England.
