The San Francisco 49ers have signed free agent kicker Greg Joseph to a one-year deal as competition for their kicking job. Jake Moody, the team’s third-round pick in 2023, had a successful rookie season but struggled last year, finishing with a 70.6% success rate on field goals, ranking him 33rd among NFL kickers. Joseph, 30, previously played for the Giants, Commanders, and Jets, making 16-of-20 field goals last season and has experience with the Browns, Titans, and Vikings since entering the NFL in 2018.
