Ranieri to avoid suspension after clash with Sozza
Claudio Ranieri will not face punishment following his outburst against referee Sozza after Roma’s loss to Atalanta. Although he was booked for contesting the withdrawal of a penalty initially given to Kone, reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport indicate that he did not direct insults at the officials. Consequently, Ranieri will be on the sidelines for Roma’s final match at the Stadio Olimpico against Milan on Sunday.
