Carolina Panthers running back Jonathon Brooks has been placed on the physically unable to perform list, missing the 2025 season due to a second ACL tear in his right knee, which he initially injured in November 2023 during his final college season at Texas. Selected 46th overall in the 2024 draft as the first running back, Brooks previously missed the first 10 games of last season and played only three games before sustaining another injury. With Brooks out, the Panthers will rely on Chuba Hubbard, alongside new signing Rico Dowdle and fourth-round draft pick Trevor Etienne.
