The Kansas City Chiefs waived DE B.J. Thompson and released LB Blake Lynch on Saturday, as reported by Matt Derrick.
Lynch, 28, originally signed with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2020 and has had stints with multiple teams, including the Chargers and Seahawks, before joining the Chiefs’ taxi squad.
In 2024, he played in two games for the Chargers and Chiefs, recording six total tackles, including one for loss.
