The San Francisco 49ers have re-signed veteran tight end Ross Dwelley to a one-year free-agent contract to bolster depth behind star tight end George Kittle. Dwelley, who previously spent seven seasons with the 49ers after joining as an undrafted free agent, played the 2024 season with the Atlanta Falcons, recording one catch for five yards. At 30 years old, his return adds experience and familiarity with the team’s offensive system, joining a tight end roster that includes Kittle and others.
