The Tampa Bay Buccaneers strengthened their roster by selecting receiver Emeka Egbuka with the 19th overall pick, a decision that general manager Jason Licht deemed essential. Licht stated that Egbuka was highly regarded by the front office, being ranked in the top 10 on their board, which made the choice straightforward despite other options available at that pick. Egbuka joins a talented receiving group that includes Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, the latter of whom is recovering from a dislocated ankle injury.
