The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Ohio State quarterback Will Howard in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 185th overall. At 23, Howard contributed to the Buckeyes’ CFP title run, passing for 4,010 yards, 35 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions in 2024, while also adding seven rushing scores. Joining a quarterback depth chart with Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson, Howard is viewed as a developmental backup who can excel in short-yardage situations but needs to improve on working through progressions.
