Twins rookie infielder Luke Keaschall sustained a non-displaced fracture in his right forearm after being hit by a pitch from Kyle Hendricks during a game against the Angels. Despite initially staying in to run the bases, he was replaced by pinch-hitter Mickey Gasper, marking a sudden end to his impressive start, batting .368 with a .538 on-base percentage in his first 26 plate appearances. The Twins, already missing Royce Lewis and Willi Castro, are seeking additional roster help, recently acquiring Jonah Bride and reportedly agreeing to bring in Kody Clemens.
