Shedeur Sanders surprisingly went undrafted in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, despite being a top contender, as Cam Ward was chosen first overall and Jaxson Dart was drafted second. The Cleveland Browns are favored to select Sanders with their early second-round picks, having been linked to him throughout the draft process after trading their second overall pick to the Jaguars, who selected his teammate Travis Hunter. Other potential teams interested in Sanders include the Raiders, Saints, and Steelers, with the latter needing to trade up to secure him.
