This week is particularly busy for the NFL and even more so for the New England Patriots, who will hold a three-day voluntary veteran minicamp from Tuesday to Thursday, coinciding with the start of the draft. The minicamp, allowed for teams with new coaches, comes immediately after Phase I of the offseason program, and players who wish to remain with the team under new coach Mike Vrabel are encouraged to participate. Vrabel’s involvement in the minicamp will also influence his final preparations for the draft, highlighting the multitasking demands placed on head coaches.
