Rays outfielder Richie Palacios has been placed on the injured list due to a right knee sprain, with an expected absence of four to six weeks as the team assesses the need for surgery. This is Palacios’s second IL stint this season; he had just returned from a finger fracture and performed well in his brief appearance.
