Marlins pitcher Xzavion Curry went unclaimed on waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Jacksonville after being designated for assignment to make room for catcher Rob Brantly. Acquired from the Guardians last summer, Curry has pitched three innings this season, allowing four runs on four hits with an average fastball of 90.5 MPH, down from previous years. With a 4.38 ERA over 150 MLB innings and the option to elect free agency, Curry may choose to remain with the Marlins as they navigate a rebuilding phase.
