LeBron James had his first on-court workout since straining his groin in the Lakers’ March 8 game against the Celtics, with a return timetable update pending further evaluation. Despite missing three games during a four-game losing streak, James had been averaging 25 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 8.5 assists this season. The Lakers, currently 40-25 and in fifth place in the Western Conference, are also expecting Jaxson Hayes to return against the Suns and potentially Rui Hachimura within the week.
