Chicago Bears have released safety Marlen Sewell from their practice squad due to an injury settlement, according to Brad Biggs. The 23-year-old Sewell, who was a three-star recruit from Alabama and played five years at Vanderbilt, initially signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent but joined the Bears after being let go. During his collegiate career, he recorded 102 tackles and several defensive plays. This marks a significant step in the Bears’ roster adjustments.
