Patriots receiver A.J. Brown suffered an ankle injury during the third quarter of the team’s 13-10 loss to the Seahawks in the season opener on Wednesday. Head coach Mike Vrabel provided no updates on Brown’s condition postgame, noting he could not return to play. The injury occurred when Seahawks cornerback Nehemiah Pritchett awkwardly landed on Brown’s lower leg while breaking up a pass. In his Patriots debut, Brown recorded three catches for 26 yards on four targets.
