The New York Giants have released veteran wide receiver Darius Slayton, as confirmed by the NFL transactions wire. This decision frees up $3.16 million in cap space but creates $12.75 million in dead money. Slayton, a fifth-round pick in 2019, restructured his contract multiple times, most recently signing a three-year, $36 million deal. In 2025, he recorded 37 receptions for 538 yards and one touchdown over 14 games.
