Happy 59th birthday to Luis Gonzalez, a five-time MLB All-Star and Arizona Diamondbacks World Series hero. Drafted by the Houston Astros in 1988, he had a breakout season in 1999 with Arizona, leading the National League in hits and earning his first All-Star selection. In 2001, he set a franchise record with 57 home runs, won the Home Run Derby, and clinched the World Series title with a walk-off hit against the Yankees. Gonzalez retired with 354 home runs and his No. 20 jersey was retired by the Diamondbacks in 2010.
