The Edmonton Oilers have hired Misha Donskov as a coaching consultant, as announced by head coach Mike Babcock, who praised Donskov’s experience and professionalism. Donskov, also the head coach of Hockey Canada’s National Men’s teams, will work with the Oilers on select home game days due to his ongoing commitment. Previously, he had roles with the Columbus and Atlanta NHL teams, and spent seven seasons with the Vegas Golden Knights. This position may lead to a full-time role for Donskov in the future, coinciding with the end of his Hockey Canada contract in 2027-28.
