Tarik Skubal’s Dominant Performance
In a dramatic turnaround, Tarik Skubal faced early adversity, allowing three runs in the first inning of Saturday’s game against the Pirates but rebounded to showcase his best performance as a Dodger. He struck out 11 batters over seven innings, effectively regaining his rhythm and demonstrating his elite pitching skills. The Dodgers rallied to win 4-3, with key contributions from Teoscar Hernández and Kyle Tucker. Skubal’s impressive outing solidified his status as a top pitcher, as he retired 18 of the final 19 batters faced.
