Longtime NBA referee Joey Crawford is being inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame on August 15. Over his 39-season career, he officiated 2,561 regular-season games, set a record with 374 postseason games, and worked 50 NBA Finals, including 23 consecutive Finals. Known for his strict officiating style, Crawford gained notoriety for an incident in 2007 when he ejected Spurs’ Tim Duncan for laughing from the bench, resulting in an indefinite suspension. He retired in 2016 at age 63.
