The Minnesota Wild have signed collegiate prospect Charlie Stramel to a three-year, $3.225MM entry-level contract, confirmed by the team. Stramel, who recently broke his ankle in Michigan State’s last game, will not play this season, with his contract starting in 2026-27. After transferring from Wisconsin, he has significantly improved, scoring 28 goals and 71 points in 74 games. With potential departures in the Wild’s forward lineup, Stramel may make the opening night roster next season.
