Tom Izzo, synonymous with Michigan State basketball, revealed on “The Dan Patrick Show” that he considered coaching the Phoenix Suns last year, a team owned by former player Mat Ishbia. While he received multiple NBA job offers, including interest from the Cleveland Cavaliers, Izzo remains committed to the Spartans, emphasizing his desire to achieve more before retiring. After leading Michigan State to its 17th Sweet 16, he stated that he still has goals to accomplish and is not retiring anytime soon.
