The Dallas Stars have extended general manager Jim Nill’s contract for two additional years, ensuring his leadership as the team approaches its fifth consecutive playoff appearance after reaching the Western Conference final for the past three seasons. Nill, who has been with the Stars since 2013, has earned recognition as the NHL’s top GM for the last three years. Under his management, the Stars have secured the second-most postseason wins in the NHL since his tenure began. Nill expressed gratitude for the opportunity to continue guiding the franchise, which ranks second in the NHL with 100 points this season.
