Boston College has appointed UConn assistant Luke Murray as its new men’s basketball head coach, following his successful tenure helping lead the Huskies to back-to-back national championships in 2023 and 2024. Murray, recognized for his offensive expertise and recruiting skills, expressed his commitment to establishing a competitive and unselfish team culture. Athletic director Blake James praised Murray’s leadership and vision for modern college basketball. Murray is the son of actor Bill Murray and has a rich coaching background, including prior stints at Xavier and Louisville.
