The Calgary Flames have recalled winger Brennan Othmann from AHL Calgary as they look to evaluate one of their new prospects. Othmann, a 23-year-old first-round pick by the Rangers in 2023, has struggled in the NHL, recording just two assists in his first 25 games before being traded to Calgary for Jacob Battaglia. After starting with the Wranglers, he has tallied eight goals and 13 assists in 36 games this season. This recall counts against Calgary’s post-deadline limit, with three of five used so far.
