The Washington Commanders are set to host veteran cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon for a free agency visit as they aim to bolster their thin roster. Witherspoon, a 31-year-old who was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 2017, has played for the 49ers, Seahawks, Steelers, and Rams, and is entering his 10th NFL season. Last season, he struggled with injuries but previously had a productive stint as a full-time starter. The Commanders have also signed Amik Robertson and are considering drafting additional cornerback talent.
