The Atlanta Braves have claimed right-hander Osvaldo Bido off waivers from the New York Yankees, marking his return to the team after a brief stint in December. Bido, who has performed well this spring with a 1.29 ERA and one win in seven games, may be called upon soon due to injuries within the Braves’ pitching staff. Additionally, the Braves placed lefty Joey Wentz on the 60-day injured list with a torn ACL. The Braves concluded spring training with a 21-7-2 record, and manager Brian Snitker will be inducted into the Braves Hall of Fame on April 25.
