The San Francisco 49ers are set to sign veteran guard Robert Jones to a contract, as reported by Tom Pelissero. After going undrafted in 2021, Jones made the active roster with the Miami Dolphins, starting in one game during his first season. He has consistently made the 53-man roster, and in 2024, he started all 17 games at left guard for the Dolphins before testing free agency. Jones visited San Francisco on Monday prior to the signing.
