COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The Columbus Blue Jackets defeated the Seattle Kraken 5-2, marking their fourth consecutive win and extending their point streak to 12 games. Danton Heinen, Damon Severson, and Mathieu Olivier scored in the first period, with Zach Werenski assisting on all three goals. Cole Sillinger and Kent Johnson also scored, while Elvis Merzlikins made 15 saves. Seattle’s Kaapo Kakko and Vince Dunn contributed goals, but the Kraken have now lost three straight, falling behind Nashville for the final wild-card spot.
