NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that the Philadelphia Eagles are signing Jets tight end Stone Smartt to a one-year deal. Smartt, 27, transitioned from quarterback at Old Dominion University to tight end after going undrafted in 2022. He played three seasons with the Chargers before joining the Jets, where he recorded seven receptions for 52 yards in 2025. The Eagles are bolstering their roster with this acquisition as they prepare for the upcoming season.
