Cruz-ing On Back
Fernando Cruz returned from the World Baseball Classic, pitching a scoreless inning with two strikeouts. Brent Headrick escaped a bases-loaded situation in the eighth inning, and Giancarlo Stanton continued to impress despite a foul ball, recording a hit after hitting several hard balls. The Yankees will have split-squad games Thursday, with Max Fried facing the Orioles at home and Ryan Weathers on the road against the Blue Jays.
