Brayden Schenn scored his first goal since joining from St. Louis, while Emil Heineman also netted a goal; Ilya Sorokin made 24 saves. Toronto’s Steven Lorentz scored, but the Leafs struggled without captain Auston Matthews, dropping to 2-1-1 since his injury.
