Joe Person reports that the Panthers are re-signing safety Nick Scott on a one-year deal worth up to $3.25 million. Scott, a former seventh-round pick by the Rams in the 2019 NFL Draft, previously played for the Bengals before joining the Panthers last year. In 2025, he played all 17 games for Carolina, recording 111 tackles, a fumble recovery, an interception, and three pass defenses. This contract marks Scott’s return to the Panthers after completing his rookie contract and a stint with Cincinnati.
