The Chargers have signed veteran defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson to a one-year contract worth $7.5 million, following his release from the Cardinals. The 32-year-old, a second-round pick by the Giants in 2018, has recorded 368 tackles, 20 sacks, and 70 quarterback hits in his career. Despite a down season that saw him ranked 114th among defensive tackles by Pro Football Focus, Tomlinson could become a valuable asset in the Chargers’ defensive line rotation if he regains his form. Coach Jim Harbaugh is looking to bolster the team’s depth after recent offensive line improvements.
