According to Ian Rapoport, the Washington Commanders have signed safety Nick Cross to a two-year contract worth up to $14 million. Cross, 24, was selected by the Indianapolis Colts as the 96th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and recently completed a four-year rookie deal. In 2025, he played all 17 games, recording 120 total tackles, five tackles for loss, and one interception. Cross is included in the Top 100 Available NFL Free Agents list.
