Roki Sasaki’s Spring Training Progress
Roki Sasaki is having a challenging spring training with the Dodgers, but he made significant strides in a B-game against White Sox minor leaguers, striking out nine over four innings. Manager Dave Roberts emphasized Sasaki’s importance due to injuries to other pitchers, noting that he touched 98-100 mph during his outing. Despite earlier command issues, Sasaki attributed his improvement to mechanical adjustments focusing on his core. Tyler Glasnow also performed well, allowing only two hits and striking out five in 4.1 innings against the Diamondbacks.
