According to Chris Tomasson, the Broncos will utilize a post-June designation to release LB Dre Greenlaw, which can only be processed once the league year starts on Wednesday. This decision will split his dead cap hit across two years, resulting in $2.2 million in dead money and an $8.2 million cap savings for Denver. Greenlaw, 28, was previously signed to a three-year, $35 million contract with the Broncos after four years with the 49ers. In 2025, he played eight games, recording 43 tackles, one sack, and an interception.
