According to Jeremy Fowler, the Washington Commanders are re-signing kicker Jake Moody to a one-year deal. Initially, the team declined to tender Moody a contract as a restricted free agent. Moody, a third-round draft pick in 2023, had a challenging start, being waived by the 49ers after one game before joining the Commanders. In 2025, he appeared in nine games across three teams, successfully making 19 of 23 field goals and 15 of 16 extra point attempts.
