According to Tom Pelissero, the Washington Commanders have signed offensive lineman Nick Allegretti to a two-year contract, adding to his remaining year. Allegretti is expected to replace veteran center Tyler Biadasz, who was recently cut from the team. After starting in place of Biadasz at the end of last season, Allegretti earned this new deal. Previously, he was a seventh-round pick by the Chiefs in 2019 and signed a three-year, $16 million contract with the Commanders.
