Chiefs cornerback Trent McDuffie is entering the fifth year of his rookie deal, following the team’s exercise of his fifth-year option last offseason. During a press conference at the scouting combine, Chiefs GM Brett Veach expressed the team’s desire to retain McDuffie, highlighting him as a priority for discussions. McDuffie, 25, was a standout player at Washington and was selected 21st overall in the 2022 draft. In 2025, he started 13 games, recording 63 tackles, one sack, and one interception.
