Rich McKay, co-chairman of the NFL competition committee, announced that no proposals to ban the Tush Push have been made by any team. While previous discussions occurred, particularly with a proposal from the Packers last year, there appears to be less momentum for change this offseason. Adam Schefter reported that the issue may not even be brought to a vote, and the NFL has instructed officials to call the play “tight.” As scrutiny increases, especially regarding offsides, future discussions will depend on new proposals and team support.
