The Seattle Seahawks have appointed Brian Fleury as their new offensive coordinator, previously a run game coordinator and tight ends coach for the 49ers. Head coach Mike Macdonald, who also transitioned to play calling without prior experience, expressed confidence in Fleury’s potential, emphasizing the importance of preparation. Fleury, who has experience in defensive roles, stated he has always been ready to call plays and aims to maintain the successful offensive system established by Klint Kubiak. He noted that the Seahawks’ offense will resemble the one that recently won the Super Bowl.
