The Anaheim Ducks announced that goalie Petr Mrazek, formerly of the Chicago Blackhawks, has undergone hip surgery and will miss the rest of the 2025-26 season. Mrazek has not played since January 5 and recorded a 3-5-0 record with a 4.07 goals-against average and .858 save percentage in 10 games this season. Last season, he had a 12-21-2 record across 38 games with the Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings. During his three seasons with the Blackhawks, Mrazek posted a 38-72-9 record in 128 games.
