The Edmonton Oilers have reassigned defenseman Alec Regula to their AHL affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors, on a conditioning loan for up to two weeks. This decision comes as Regula, 25, has been a healthy scratch and hasn’t played since January 20. Acquired from the Boston Bruins in December 2024, he missed the entire 2024-25 season due to a knee injury and has recorded three points in 29 games this season. The Oilers aim for him to gain confidence in the AHL before returning to the NHL roster.
