Trailing 2–0 late in the third period, Finland rallied with goals from Sebastian Aho and Miro Heiskanen to equalize. Lehkonen, known for his clutch performances, secured Finland’s spot in the semifinals, where they will face Canada. Finland aims to defend their gold medal from the 2022 Beijing Games.
