The Los Angeles Kings have recalled goaltender Pheonix Copley from the AHL’s Ontario Reign and placed forward Kevin Fiala on injured reserve following Fiala’s leg fractures during the Olympics. Copley, serving as a practice player while starter Darcy Kuemper competes for Team Canada, has a 13-11-0 record this season. Fiala’s injury ends his season early, prompting the Kings to potentially seek additional scoring help ahead of the trade deadline. The team previously acquired winger Artemi Panarin while Fiala was healthy.
